description

Hairy Alumroot ‘Autumn Bride’ (Heuchera villosa var. villosa ‘Autumn Bride’) is a selected form of our native Hairy Alumroot, prized for its light green foliage and showy white late-summer blooms. Even after flowering, its mounding, semi-evergreen chartreuse foliage brightens and softens shady garden spaces!

Blooming from August through September, creamy white flowers rise in airy spikes on tall stems above its soft fuzzy leaves, adding late-season interest. ‘Autumn Bride’ performs best in part shade with moist to dry, well-drained soil and is notably tolerant of dry shade once established.

This cultivar makes a beautiful and dependable addition to woodland edges and shaded garden beds, providing texture, brightness, and pollinator value at a time of year when many shade plants have finished blooming!
