description

Joe Pye Weed ‘Little Joe’ (Eutrochium dubium ‘Little Joe’) is a selected form of our native Joe Pye Weed, chosen for its compact, upright habit and soft light pink blooms. Its shorter stature makes it an excellent option when you want the bold presence of a tall perennial without overwhelming smaller garden beds!
Blooming from late July through August, fluffy clusters of light pink flowers rise above sturdy stems, creating a strong vertical accent in the summer garden. ‘Little Joe’ performs best in full sun to part shade with average to moist soil.
When in bloom, this cultivar attracts a wide range of pollinators, and as the season progresses, its seed heads provide continued visual interest while serving as a food source for birds!
